Onco Launches New Website!

ONCO has quickly grown from a small start-up cancer registry software developer to a nationally recognized authority on oncology software. Our great customer service and reliable cancer registry are now complimented with an entire suite of cancer-related software applications. We have expanded our customer base nationally and internationally.
In 2009 we realized we had to bring our corporate image to better reflect our quality, our standards and our commitment to the oncology industry. We researched and interviewed several branding agencies and selected a New Jersey based agency, called East House Creative, www.east-house.com, located close to New York City. They claimed they hire only top talent from the city and provide Madison Avenue creative without the Madison Avenue attitude. We liked that. We felt confident with their experience within the healthcare industry, which included GE Healthcare, National Kidney Foundation and a number of other prominent names.
To better understand our strengths and our clients’ needs the agency asked to engage us in a pre-re-branding discovery session. That set the course of ONCO’s rebranding voyage.
Today we celebrate the latest phase of this journey, the release of our new online face www.oncoinc.com, and the beginning of an even more exciting journey. We didn’t just update our brand image here, we developed an online tool including a client login area to better serve our clients with help documentation, downloads, software updates, FAQs, as well as a user forum which is currently in the works.
Today I asked Youlian Avramov, creative director and partner at East House to capture the process of our rebranding in a few sentences.

“When ONCO first approached us a year ago their website was outdated and portrayed a small company filled with much enthusiasm and good will but didn’t reflect their success. After sitting through the first product demo we felt the enthusiasm in their team, by the sixth product demo we realized we had met the best kept secret in the oncology industry. Their old corporate image didn’t do justice to their recognition within the industry, or their quality and dedication.
Given the fact that we were not real users it took us some time to study their software applications, ask questions and to understand how flexible and convenient their cancer registry is as well as the enormous amount of useful cancer-specific features all their software packages provide.
We started working on their rebranding campaign with the usual qualitative research and interviews, both internally and externally. A brief summary of our work for ONCO last year includes: brand image redesign, new collateral package with product inserts, tradeshow graphics and of course the development of www.oncoinc.com.
I believe our work as branding minds and designers comes out most inspired and successful when we partner with smart, intelligent clients whose products we believe in. ONCO are one of these clients and I can certainly vouch for that.”
